ABOUT ABA THERAPY AT BEHAVIORALL
At BehaviorALL ABA Therapy, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism. Our goal is to help children build essential skills so they can thrive in communication, learning, socialization, and everyday life.
What is Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children learn positive skills and reduce challenging behaviors. ABA programs are individualized to meet each child’s unique needs and goals, whether that’s communication, self-help skills, social interaction, or academic readiness.

With hundreds of peer-reviewed studies, ABA is recognized as the gold standard of care for autism treatment.
The "ABCs" of ABA

To understand ABA, it helps to know the basics: Antecedent – Behavior – Consequence
-
Antecedent: What happens before a behavior.
-
Behavior: The action your child takes (anything observable, like asking, playing, or yelling).
-
Consequence: What happens after the behavior, which may increase or decrease the chance it happens again.
Example:

A child sees a cookie (antecedent). They may ask politely for it or grab it without asking (behavior). If they ask politely, they might get the cookie. If they grab it, they may be told “not right now” (consequence).
Through ABA, therapists teach children:
Communication skills (asking appropriately).
Positive reinforcement (praise or rewards for positive behavior).
Visual supports (tools like picture schedules).
Redirection (guiding toward a more appropriate response).
This approach helps children learn better ways to express themselves, gain self-control, and understand rules in a supportive, positive environment.
Who Qualifies for ABA Therapy?
ABA therapy is designed for children with autism of all ages. At BehaviorALL ABA Therapy, we specialize in early intervention which includes children from 2 to 6, but also provide individualized programs for older children.

Your child will be evaluated by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through interviews and observations. From there, a customized treatment plan will be created based on your child’s strengths and needs.

Treatment options may include:
-
Focused intervention: Targets 1–2 specific skill areas.
-
Comprehensive intervention: A broader plan ranging from 10–40 hours per week.
